"That lovely pub at the end of the High Street"
A welcoming traditional pub for locals and visitors, offering good value homemade pub food, real ale, carefully selected wine and always a warm welcome. We have a cosy bar with log fire in the winter, a seperate restaurant perfect for small gatherings, functions and meetings, and also offer B&B with three en-suite rooms upstairs.
We are family friendly, dog friendly and have a very pretty back garden. We hold lots of events throughout the year; a weekly Wednesday Quiz, monthly Folk Club, plus wine tastings, themed food evenings and psychic nights!
In touch with tradition, we like nothing better than a good old chat around the bar, telling interesting stories, funny anecdotes and being part of the community - "a proper pub"!
