We handle mainly commercial legal work: acquisition, disposal and merger of businesses, including companies, and short (both in terms of lease period and document length) commercial leases are our specialities.
Also partnership agreements, shareholders' agreements, terms and conditions of business (T&Cs) and similar commercial work.
We also draft Wills and powers of attorney, and offer initial general legal advice, referring clients to other specialist lawyers or experts in other professions, as appropriate.
We do not make a charge for an initial discussion - whether in person, by phone or by email - so you can see whether and how we can help and how much we are likely to charge for our work.

For "Love Tenterden" cardholders who identify themselves when instructing us to act for them, we will discount our fees by 10%, except for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, where the full price is payable: £360 including VAT for a simple Will or pair of Wills; £240 including VAT per Lasting Power of Attorney

When you want a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney prepared, you want it drawn up quickly so you can put it in place and forget it. We offer to turn around this work in a week (plus the time you, as the client, take to approve drafts or attend to sign the documents) - we will do all our work within an aggregate of 7 days, and if we miss that target we will halve our fees.
