Tenterden Trout Waters is ranked in the Top 50 of the Top 100 Stillwater Trout Fisheries in the British Isles.
The Fishery was established in 1975 and was one of the first Still Stillwater Fisheries in the South East of England and remains family owned.

There are 3 Lakes totalling approx 5 acres of water all fully stocked with Rainbow, Brown & Blue Trout ranging from 2lbs-14lbs.

All the lakes have retainer baskets placed around the banks in which Anglers can put their live fish and then they are able to select their best brace or four at the end of their fishing session if they have selected a 'catch & kill' permit. Alternatively, Anglers can return the fish directly to the water therefore adopting a successful 'catch & release' system.

The Lakes are set in beautiful Wealden countryside in a tranquil setting just one mile from Tenterden Town. The Fishery enjoys an excellent reputation with discerning Fly Fishermen and Fly Fisherwomen.

Day, Half Day and Evening Permits are available.

Rod/net/tackle hire and fly casting tuition are available by appointment.

Gift vouchers can be purchased for that special sporting gift.

Come and stay & fish in our charming Shepherds Hut accomodation which sleeps 2.

Our Farm/Fishery is also a picturesque wedding venue for Marquee/Tipi Weddings in June, July, August and early September for 120 guests when our Fishery is closed in the Summer.

    We host Marquee/Tipi Festival Style Weddings at Coombe Farm, Tenterden each Summer end of June, July, August and the first weekend of September. We offer a dry hire venue where you bring in your own suppliers or use ours to create the wedding of your dreams from a blank sheet of canvas. We are offering a 5% discount on our venue cost of £4,000 (over 4 days) on the presentation of a valid Tenterden Loyalty Card. Marquees and catering are not included in this price.
