If you're looking for a real piece of England, safe to say, you've found it - Tenterden is a beautiful little place, and our pub is being lovingly changed to make sure we are beyond 'keeping up with the Jones'!
New everything is probably the best way to look at it.
Every change we're making will highlight the historical beauty of our pub, whilst being very easy on the eye. Comfy seating and cosy decor will make our pub a brilliant place to while away an hour or two...

We Love Cooking Amazing Food

With a lovely new kitchen, scope to create fabulous dishes using only the best, quality ingredients and above all, truly great chefs - it's easy to see how our delicious homecooked food is made so delicious!
We believe that when you set out to do, you set out to do better than ever before. So, our menus have been created with care and the overriding ethos that we will only serve the best.
We have two true loves when it comes to food; steak and pizza - but this doesn't mean we don't do an awesome sausage & mash, beautifully delicate fish dishes or totally appetite satisfying burgers, because we do....
Our steaks are the best we have eaten (to the point, we know!) and we know they're the best because we have eaten alot of steak to find the right cuts for our menus. We cook using a rather spangly piece of kit called a Josper (The Times recently called it the plaything of the moment for top chefs - and we can see why) - The Jopser helps us cook the perfect steak; creating a great smoky flavour but ensuring all the flavour is kept in. Perfect.
Pizza-wise, we don't like to brag, but. We have been to Italy, and ours will certainly be considered worthy. Hand stretched by our pizza chef and cooked fresh to order, we have created a pizza menu to tackle even the most discerning pizza critics! Top quality ingredients and a tomato sauce that is second to none. Good pizza this definitely is.

Quality cocktails, delicious wines, premium spirits and well kept beer ... these are just some of the delights you'll find at our bar

Whether its a drink with family, a weekend relaxation, an evening with someone special or a simple 'well done you' drink en route home from a busy day - it should be memorable.
Our bar team love what they do. Mixing quality cocktails is all in a days work as is pouring the perfect pint; we've poured (ha, get it?) long and hard over what to stock, and are sure you'll be pleased with our range.

Our Rooms

We believe that comfort is sacred, and that staying away from home should be a bit of a treat. So, we've done everything we could think of to make our rooms extra special!
Every room has a comfy bed with premium linen, a decent shower, fluffy bathrobes and White Company Toiletries. Free Wi-Fi and a large flat screen TV with Freeview is in every room.
Enjoy a super comfy bed with premium bedding, lush bathrobes and a really decent shower. Topped off with our added little luxuries, like White Company toiletries (which you can take home) and our homemade welcome basket - complete with freshly ground coffee and treats from our chefs.
