A permanent position has opened up within our small business for a part time, experienced florist to join the team. The position would be 2-3 days a week in a small but busy high street shop. You must be able to: - Make arrangements and orders to a high standard and the correct specification - Recognise and name individual flowers and plant species, with knowledge of their care and requirements for growth - Communicate with customers in person and over the phone - Successfully take and deal with telephone, computer and in person orders - Be able to work overtime if necessary during busy/peak periods - Use your initiative during less busy times to complete odd jobs The starting salary will be the minimum wage, so it is age dependent but this will be reviewed following a successful probation period. A full, clean driving licence would be helpful as it maybe necessary to do some deliveries.
