Christmas for some can be a difficult time for some in a community, wherever you live. This can be for many reasons either short or longer term or simply unexpected circumstances and The Big Wrap charity supports and enables families at what is meant to be a joyful time of year to make it more enjoyable by providing children’s gifts and food vouchers to support families who may be experiencing difficult times in Tenterden an surrounding villages and areas.

We appeal for brand new Christmas gifts for children to wrap and provide gift sacks for families. Big Wrap donation and gift wrapping day is held annually at the end of November or beginning of December to collate all items to be prepared to distribute to families discreetly via the referrers who are mainly through local schools.

We also fundraise throughout the year and in collaboration with St Mildred’s and other local churches the Christmas Cheer appeal monies raised provides food vouchers for the same families.

Because you never know what troubles the person next door may be going through.
