Between The Lines is a multi-award-winning lifestyle family-run business with 19 stores across the South of England, specialising in beautiful, inspiring gifts, cards, and books for friends, family, and your home.

​Founded in 1964 by Norman and Mary Brine, our first store opened in Midhurst, Sussex. The shop has been trading successfully ever since, providing a friendly and efficient service to the local community. Norman's daughter, Lindsey, along with her husband, Florian, joined the business in the mid-80s, opening two more stores in Godalming and Alton.

​Since then, Between The Lines has grown and expanded it's locations across the South of England with the aim of spreading it's core mission to 'celebrate the joy of giving'.
